Tool Room

Englander’s tool room is a state-of-the-art facility. Talented and highly skilled toolmakers are key to Englander’s success in manufacturing outstanding progressive, compound and other types of tools.

Englander’s integrated manufacturing solutions philosophy ensures that the experience of our toolmakers is fully utilized for all aspects of our operations.

Tooling, precision machining and production stamping are all integrated to ensure that our customers receive the best service at the least total cost.
16 toolmakers with an average of 20 years of experience each are assigned to the following three areas:

Englander’s multi-axis-machining centers along with conventional milling, lathe, surface grinders, and special equipment help Englander keep productions and operation costs down.

Englander’s wire EDM department, equipped with the most advanced wire EDM machines that can cut the die components accurately and economically.
The department utilizes the latest generation of CAD/CAM technology and computers.

The tool room manufactures high quality costs effective tooling by using the best standard components and die making practices.

Englander’s traditional capabilities are as complete and extensive as you will find anywhere. Englander repairs and maintains tool and dies, jigs, fixtures, and supports fast tool modifications to accommodate engineering changes.

Production Department

The Production division at Englander has three departments:

  • ● Stamping Department
  • ● Deburring Department
  • ● Assembly Department

The stamping department has automatic production lines with capabilities in the range of 5 ton to 400 ton with the size of 1,500 x 2,500 mm.
All production lines are equipped with automatic feeders, de-coilers and straighteners.

All dies are progressive dies. Presses are equipped with advanced quality control systems.

The production department oversees the executing of prototypes and models during the development stage in constant close collaboration with the engineering department.

The deburring department is one of the most advanced in the world and operates under the most demanding standards of the Israel Ministry of Environmental Protection.

The department operates automatically in a closed-circuit and is designed to allow a controlled process and monitored process. The department is equipped with vibrators, a drying tunnel and a modern recycling and purification system.

This department performs riveting, tapping, robotic assembly, spot welding, projection welding, robotic welding, MIG and TIG welding of a variety kind of sub-assemblies.

in addition the assembly department focus on a range of required process such as: hardening, coating, painting, and brazing.
